How to fill out an I-9 with an Lawful Pemanent Resident Card

If the employee notes that they are “A lawful permanent resident,” option 3 in Section I then they need to enter the number highlighted in the image below on the front of the card.

Then the manager needs to select “2. Perm Pas Card or Alien Reg Receipt Card(Form I-551) from the List A drop-down menu.  They will then need to enter the number on the back of the card as highlighted in the example above.
