Back in 2002, a couple of guys named Cameron Arcemont and Clark Spencer began collaborating to build EightHr. Arcemont was a long-time programmer. Spencer worked in the private industry as a CPA, and CFO of a large restaurant franchisee. Both men spent their days drowning in paperwork and often felt overwhelmed trying to keep track of it all.
That’s when the two problem-solvers put their heads together and brainstormed how to make the dream of less paperwork and more efficiency a reality.
In 2004, they formed Arc Technologies and released the revolutionary web-based HR Software solution EightHR.
