The files are not automatically imported into Infor.  Once the file has been generated, the manger will need to follow the Infor instructions on how to import a file.

Practical Examples or Situations:

Rehire.  In Eight you might complete a demographic change to move a terminated record back to active.  Eight will generate a demographic change Infor file, which will get an error upon import into Infor if the employee doesn’t have a current active record in Infor.  Infor is looking for a new hire file type.  In Eight, you can solve this problem by clicking on the FTP button of the employee profile once the demographic task has been completed and the employee is active in Eight again.

If you complete a new hire task for rehires in Eight, then you will not have any problems when importing the file into Infor.
